🎥 Webinar: Beyond Nov 3rd: Advocacy strategy for the days ahead
New/Mode
Nov 16, 2020
Whether it’s a contested result or a flat-out refusal to transfer power, our communities will be a powerful force when called to act in the coming days.
This roundtable discussion helps brainstorm advocacy contingency plans and share strategies for keeping our supporters ready to go for the days ahead. We invited speakers and participants to share tips for making sure their issue(s) are top of mind for the first 100 days of a new administration.
The panelists:
- Jose Nunez, Digital Organizing Director for Biden/Harris, who led a record-breaking national team that contacted more voters than any other campaign in history (in the middle of a pandemic!).
- Yash Mori, Digital Strategy Director at Indivisible, a leading plank of the anti-Trump resistance whose millions of members organized in locals groups across the US to fight Trump's agenda and kick him out of office.
- Bridget Todd, Communications Director at UltraViolet, the host of the podcast There Are No Girls on the Internet, and acclaimed speaker on issues ranging from misinformation to Black liberation.
- Val Ollawala, Director of Success for MobilizeAmerica, the platform that’s helped mobilize over 18,000,000 volunteers for Democratic and progressive campaigns and causes (including the Biden/Harris campaign).
The Agenda:
🌏 Our panelists reflect on their major focus after election day and share success stories from pre-election work
👥 A moderated roundtable discussion and questions for panelists
